MatScouts Crystal Ball projected 2027 NCAA top 15 (Willie Saylor), mid-summer update

Wyoming finished fiftieth in the country in 2023. Last March they finished twelfth, their best result in six years, and almost none of it is leaving. 35.5 of their 38 points return, the second highest returning share of any team on this page.

Look at where the points came from. Joey Novak took fourth at 197 and signed as the fifty fifth ranked recruit in his class. Eddie Neitenbach took seventh at 184 and signed forty seventh. Christian Carroll came out of the portal and placed eighth. Mark Branch keeps finding March points where the big boards were not looking.
